Hardturm AG therefore maintains a portfolio of building plots and existing properties, with the aim of developing them in order to profit from their sale or hold them as investment properties.

227 Hard Turm Park, Zürich
The step-by-step development of Zurich’s Hardturm area began on the basis of a master plan that came into effect in 2006, following an initial planning study conducted that year to demonstrate the feasibility and financial viability of the work. The first stages of the development are now finished, and only the 227 HARD TURM PARK project – the last tile of the mosaic – remains to be completed.

Parking garage Opéra
The new underground car park “Parkhaus Opéra” directly adjacent to Zurich Opera House is living proof that not all car parks are born equal. The company responsible for building and running the new car park is Parkhaus Opéra AG, a consortium of Hardturm AG and AMAG Automobil- und Motoren AG. Now, after 13 years of planning, design and construction – interrupted for a year to dig up some spectacular archaeological artefacts – a car park has emerged that is nothing like the slightly eerie, unsavoury places that we have come to expect. It is an expression of its immediate surroundings: a unique, carefully choreographed work of art.

The Hard Turm Park, located in the heart of Zurich West, consists of several buildings – of which the tower building is one – arranged along an area of green space to form a cohesive unit. Limmatwest, Zürich
LIMMATWEST is situated on the former Schoeller site on the Limmat river with a view of the historic Hardturm tower. As Zurich West’s first major residential construction project, it can be seen as symbolic of the pioneering spirit of this former industrial quarter.
Today Zurich West feels like a vibrant, cosmopolitan city in microcosm. Those living there can enjoy a contemporary cultural and gastronomic ambience, museums, galleries, films, theatre, concerts, sports, restaurants, bars, nightclubs and more.
